More youth and adults with disabilities are participating in general recreational programming.   Many recreation and parks staff have not been formally introduced to various types of disabilities and how to effectively provide inclusion services.   This session will increase your knowledge of inclusion services and ways to interact and communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities. Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks invites you to come learn about what "inclusion" is, increase your sensitivity and awareness about disabilities, learn practical strategies to apply when working with individuals with disabilities and recognize proper communication techniques to use when speaking and interacting with individuals with disabilities.

Cost: $20

This is a Baltimore City training with space available for MRPA members.  Please note: This session is also offered on Thursday, October 19.

Please register by October 10

Light breakfast will be provided.
